Project coordinator 'Surveillance and Control of Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease in México' in Mexico-United States Commission for Prevention of Foot and Mouth Disease and other Exotic Animal Diseases (CPA).

Background:
Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) Area Director, Operational Programme for Capacity Building Contingency Diagnosed and Security Zoosanitary to SENASICA Area Directorate Research and Epidemiological Studies and Analysis (SENASICA). Co-Director of Animal Disease Epidemiological Analysis and Zoosanitary Security. Coordinator Regional VI Mexico-United States Commission for Prevention of Foot and Mouth Disease and other Exotic Animal Diseases (CPA). Animal Health International consultant to major international organizations such as FAO, PAHO, IICA, OIRSA, USDA and various Ministries of Agriculture. Author and coauthor of 17 scientific papers in journals with international arbitration on epidemiology and natural history of emerging diseases such as avian influenza and Newcastle disease; Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, West Nile Virus, Vesicular Stomatitis. Several publications on issues of animal health and aquatic health.
